Shop The Store: Marie France Van Damme

After decades in the mass-market retail fashion industry, Montreal-born, Hong Kong–based designer Marie France Van Damme launched her own collection of high-end resort wear for women in 2011.

A mostly neutral palette of black, white, metallics, and animal prints comprise the line, the basis of which are well-cut cover-ups that can be easily thrown over a swim- suit during the day and then dressed up for evening with a belt. Other standouts include flowing sequin skirts and classic one-piece bathing suits, as well as handbags and scarves. All pieces in the collection are designed with resort living in mind but are great staples to incorporate with urban wardrobes as well.

The pieces are available at various boutiques across the world, as well as her newly opened Hong Kong flagship.
