With over thirty years’ experience in real estate, Doug has had a varied career in virtually all aspects of the real estate industry. He has a strong background in business with an emphasis on Management, Sales, Financing, Leadership, and Teambuilding. Doug was President and Owner of Treadwell Real Estate Company in Wyandotte, Michigan. The Company specialized in brokerage and development of Commercial, Industrial, and Investment Real Estate, primarily in Southeastern Michigan, ranging from commercial, office and industrial parks to golf course and residential subdivision projects. The residential development aspects of the company included the construction and development of over 1000 single-family homes and condominiums.
As founder of Treadwell Golf Associates, he expanded the company to include management, design, and construction and ultimately employed over 300 full and part-time employees. Doug successfully designed and developed several Golf courses in the Midwest, including Sanctuary Lakes Golf Course for the City of Troy, Michigan, and Copper Ridge Golf Club in Davison,
Michigan.
Doug relocated to Naples, Florida in 2009 and now specializes in Naples residential real estate as an associate broker with John R Wood, Inc. and in 2017 secured his Real Estate license in North Carolina, and associated with Landmark Realty Group in order to help those customers that would like to spend all or part of their summers in the cool climate of the North Carolina mountains. In 2019, Doug founded his own firm associated with Landmark, Mountain Life Properties of Landmark Realty Group. His firm has 4 full-time agents that offer concierge services and focus on luxury real estate services.
