Spring in Los Angeles: 3 Amazing Outdoor Spots to Visit

Spring is in the air, and this time it's official.

With Los Angeles weather reaching well into the 80s in some places for the past several weeks, it's okay to say that it's springtime. March 20th was officially the first day of spring, and that means that there are a ton of great things to do in the LA area.

Between the ocean, the mountains, the desert, and the multitude of other beautiful destinations in our area, there will never be a shortage of fun outdoor activities. Here are just some you can try:

  • The LA Arboretum. This arboretum and botanical garden is a springtime must-see. Much of the resident foliage is in bloom and the birds are singing. An excellent place for a picnic, family outing, or even just a solo stroll, these stunning grounds will not disappoint. Located at 301 N Baldwin Ave, Arcadia, CA 91007
  • Descanso Gardens. These gorgeous garden grounds offer an abundance of walking trails, a café, rose gardens, and many more native plants and trees from the area. Pristinely manicured, these breathtaking gardens are sure to please.  Located at 1418 Descanso Drive, La Cañada Flintridge, CA 91011.
  • The Huntingon: Library, Art Collections, and Botanical Gardens.
    If you are fan of museums and nature, then this is the place for you.  With incredible collections of art and botanicals from every landscape, this location is not to be missed.
