Amy Brees
A native Texan and long-time resident of Austin, Amy Brees has witnessed the Capital City's many changes during her two decades of real estate experience. Her roots and nostalgia for the vintage weirdness of the Austin of old, combined with her excitement and knowledge for the city's continued growth, make her the perfect realtor for anyone looking to call Austin home. Raised in Vernon, TX, Amy is a graduate of Baylor University, where she was a member of Kappa Kappa Gamma. She and her husband, Chip, are avid sports fans and can be found cheering for the Westlake Chaps and Baylor Bears on weekends in the fall, and for the National Champion Baylor Basketball team in the spring.
As a member of the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing and Leverage Global Partners, she has access to homes for sale all over the world. Fueled by their love for adventure, Amy and Chip share a passion for travel, taking trips to Eastern Europe, Italy, England, the Caribbean and China. One of their favorite destinations is India, where they each serve as volunteers for The Miracle Foundation, helping to transform the lives of orphan children.
Amy & Chip couldn’t be more thankful for their community at First Baptist Church, where they were married in 1988 and raised their three children over the past thirty years. If you don’t see them on Sunday morning, it’s most likely because they’re off in San Diego, Denver or Atlanta visiting a few of their eight grandchildren.
