A boutique hotel near the downtown area of beautiful, historic Santa Fe, New Mexico, Casa Culinaria - The Gourmet Inn is within walking distance of famous Santa Fe attractions such as historic Santa Fe Plaza and the Palace of the Governors, Native American, International Folk Art, and Spanish museums, and Canyon Road with its fine restaurants, art galleries, and shopping. The Railyard, SITE Santa Fe, and Meow Wolf are a short drive away. With more than 300 days of sunshine a year, anytime is a good time to visit Santa Fe!
Casa Culinaria rests on 20,000 square feet of land that houses 3 historic buildings constructed in the early 1900s, each from a different period and architectural style: Arts & Crafts, Pueblo Revival, and Territorial. Recently remodeled, they are simply perfect; every corner filled with unforgettable details. There are 12 rooms and suites spread throughout these 3 homes and 14 private parking spaces (and a Tesla Charger!). The images pictured here are a sampling of the rooms.
Delicate gardens surround and give enchanting, stunning color to this exceptional “compound.” The Inn reclaims an eco-friendly spirit through the design of a green space that is conscious of and maximizes the use of water. Diverse, endemic and exotic species of flowers, cactus, and trees enhance the architecture of the houses. All of the spaces are designed to provide a maximum of comfort and rest.
Known for its gourmet experience, Casa Culinaria begins each day with the most important meal: complimentary breakfast. In winter, a communal table; in summer, small tables await guests outside. A journey for the senses includes fresh flowers, hand-picked tableware, and a meticulous table presentation accompanied with exclusive ingredients brought from diverse locations around the globe such as Chile, Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Mexico, France, Spain, Italy, Morocco, and Turkey, to mention a few. Following breakfast other treats are available for purchase. At midday a selection of sandwiches, salads, fruit, and flavored waters are offered. In the afternoon, a special teatime: small format salads and sweets, coffee and tea. As night falls, tapas or a tasting menu are available. On the weekends, shared, thematic dinners offer a pleasing and interesting way to end the day.
Needless to say the Chef’s Kitchen holds the latest and finest equipment available. The well-proportioned kitchen is perfect throughout. It is convenient, with a place for everything, and just the right amount of space, shelving and cabinetry. Just under the kitchen there is still more space available for storing foods, kitchen appliances and even decorative items for the tables.
