Location: Cape Cod

Outer Cape Cod consists of Eastham, Provincetown, Truro and Wellfleet.

Although these four towns are different from one another, they share a culture of artistic exploration and love of nature. With gorgeous beaches, lively cobble-stoned streets, endless restaurant options, and amazing seafood, these towns have thousands of tourists every summer. While the summer months are the biggest draws, the fall can be a wonderful time to visit because the weather is still warm but everything is just a little less crowded.

Hiking and biking trails can be found throughout the area as the majority of all three towns are part of the Cape Cod National Seashore Park, where development is severely restricted. Wellfleet boasts a lively restaurant scene and The Wicked Oyster on Main Street is a local favorite. Truro’s Blackfish is a great restaurant for dinner and they even have a food truck stationed at Truro Vineyard for lunch.

Provincetown has hundreds of restaurants to choose from with a favorite being Joon Bar. While in Provincetown, you can stay at the Land’s End Inn. It's filled with antiques and art, along with unrivaled views of the sea and marshland. Plus, Provincetown is a shopper’s paradise and its Commercial Street strip is lined with local shops and craft stores.

All three towns are full of history, beauy, and traditional Cape style homes from the 1700 and 1800s. You can also find more modern homes built by Bauhaus and local architects from the 1950’s. Whether you visit Wellfleet, Truro or Provincetown, you can enjoy New England beaches, seafood, and architecture during your trip.
