Mathew Pottens
Tenacious, energetic and honest are a few of the adjectives that best describe Mathew, a third generation professional. After graduating from Dalhousie University in 2007, Mathew decided to follow the family legacy and pursue his own real-estate career.
Since then, with over 10 years of industry experience, Mathew has a deep understanding of both the residential, as well as the commercial real estate sectors, making him uniquely qualified to help clients achieve all their real-estate objectives.
Working on the residential side of the industry, Mathew has proven proficient in guiding families through the largest transactions of their lives with his exceptional attention to detail and intimate transactional and negotiation skills. Mathew perceives every client as a life-long relationship and knows that while deals come and go, quality people are hard to come by.
Mathew has worked on behalf of notable commercial tenants such as Entertainment One, Queens School of Business and the Food Dudes as well as with large public and private landlords, such as First Capital Realty, managing responsibilities such as acquisitions, leasing, property management, tenant retention, and commercial parking for major projects throughout the GTA.
Mathew has always had a special bond with the outdoors, previously leading canoeing and hiking trips for hundreds of kids aged 9-16 at summer camps in Ontario and the Adirondacks in upstate New York over a period of 6 summers; a passion he acquired after attending the wilderness-leadership program, Outward Bound. Mathew lives with his wife Emily and dog Mookie around Dufferin and St Clair in Toronto.
