Timeless Southern Living
- 1.08 Acres
Millstone at Waverly Plantation is a new community graciously draped with live oaks nestled in the historic Waverly section of the Waccamaw River and Chapel Creek. Waverly, a present day landmark, was renown in earlier times for its large and profitable rice mill. The book, “Georgetown Rice Plantations”, with text and photography by Alberta Morel Lachicotte notes “…of one of the early plantations on the Waccamaw Neck (Waverly) has been in the possession, as far as can be ascertained, of only two families, the Allstons and the Lachicottes.” The vision for Millstone at Waverly Plantation is to provide nine spacious homesites for gracious living with respect for the existing environment. It is the intent of the Developer to minimize disruption of the natural features of the property and protect these resources for future generations.
