Miami Real Estate: Brazil Tops International Buyers List
As South Florida continues to top the list of international real estate destinations in the US, recent statistics from the Miami Association of Realtors indicate that Brazilians are the number one foreign buyers of Miami real estate.
Miami, Florida is a city of vibrancy, culture, and energy which is one leading reason why buyers from other countries want to invest in real estate there. The beaches, nightlife, and local lifestyle are all contributing factors to Miami's wonderfully successful real estate market. Combined with global affordability and top level amenities, South Florida has what international buyers want.
Behind Brazil, Canada took second place with a large portion of the international sales taking place in Miami. Following Brazil and Canada were Columbia, Venezuela, Spain, Argentina, France, the UK, and Italy.
Miami was only second to Los Angeles in international home searches. What's more interesting is that Fort Lauderdale, Florida is number ten on the list, making the combination of Ft. Lauderdale and Miami even more prominent on the list, probably number one.
Extensive international partnerships are currently taking place with organizations in Brazil, which highlight Miami properties. We are also seeing listings shared between brokerages in Miami and Brazil, thus adding to the Miami property buzz.
As this trend continues, the Miami real estate market also continues to grow and thrive as a global competitor for international real estate.
