London Calling! Synonymous with Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, double-decker buses, and the Royal Family, London is undoubtedly the most fascinating city in the United Kingdom.

Home of Leverage Partner Beauchamp Estates, London is also the political, economic and cultural capital of England, offering thousands of historical and modern-day attractions.

It is one of the world’s most visited cities, as well as being a global city steeped in arts, entertainment, media, fashion and finance. It boasts some 43 universities, and is culturally diverse, with more than 300 languages spoken in Greater London. The depth and array of what London has to offer is virtually unparalleled anywhere in the world!

BAT.  The Marylebone Cricket Club was founded in St. John's Wood in 1787, launching England's national sport. There's no better place to learn about wickets and donkey drops than Lord's Cricket Ground, which has a museum and hosts regular tours.

LET IT BE.  Abbey Road Studios was immortalized by the Beatles, but Paul Robeson recorded there as far back as 1931. Fab Four pilgrims can't tour inside, but they can take a picture at the famous zebra crossing that graced the Beatles album and post it on the live "Crossing Cam," or write their name on the wall in front of the building.

PREEN.  The High Street area is chocka-block with cool boutiques: hip French labels like The Kooples and prêt-à-porter pioneer Georges Rech, the designer brand retailer Joseph and one outpost of Nicky Kinnaird's beauty products empire, SpaceNK.

STROLL.  Primrose Hill Park is where the locals hang. Its views of London are un-paralleled, and the bucolic quietude of this green space distills the reason why people live here.
