 Year End Review:

“The 4th quarter of real estate action picked up compared to the previous quarter with several properties selling before year end.  2014 saw fewer homes sell in Squaw Valley, however 50% sold over $2M.  This compares to 22% of homes selling over $2M in 2013. This a large increase in the sale of upper end homes which has helped decrease the build up of inventory in that price range.”

“In 2014, 36 condos sold which is down from 48 condos selling in 2013.  However the average sale price went up from $493K in 2013 to $541K in 2014.
This pattern of less sales with higher prices is a sign of a recovering market where prices are slowly rising and buyers are adjusting to higher listing prices.”
