Jay Herratti and Dan Taberski purchased the Los Angeles home for $2.65 million in 2007, according to public records. They were looking for a change of scenery and wanted to be around nature. ‘We both are diehard New Yorkers so we wanted to go to L.A. and try to do something completely different,’ Mr. Taberski said.
The three-bedroom, four-bathroom home has three levels, with the A-frame structure of the house containing a second living room, library and office. It totals 3,200 square feet.
The doors of the master bedroom open to a terrace, views of the city and typically a breeze. ‘It was a very nice way to wake up,’ Mr. Taberski said.
The house offers views of the ocean, downtown Los Angeles and sometimes Catalina Island, Mr. Taberski said.
