Cannes, France: St. Petersburg Circus Comes to Town

Residents and visitors of Cannes, you are in for a treat. The Circus is coming to town. The Russian St. Petersburg Circus, that is!

Le Grand Cirque De St-Petersbourg is a world-renowned traveling circus that, in America, could be likened to Barnum and Bailey's or The Ringling Brother's. The St. Petersburg Circus is especially well-traveled throughout Europe and began in Russia's St. Petersburg.

The Stade Pierre de Coubertin will be putting on this extremely exciting event. Taking place on Monday April 29, and Tuesday April 30, 2013 with two shows per night, at 6:00pm and 8:30pm.

The St. Petersburg Circus involves an array of fun animal tricks and shows, along with stunts and acrobatics that are sure to be crowd pleasers. Featuring a strong man, cat tricks, traditional Russian dance, cultural elements, gymnasts, and so much more, this event is sure to have something for everyone in the whole family.

Tickets to this event can be purchased online, or at the door if not sold out, and range in price from 12 to 50 Euros. Packages are available for groups, as well as discounts for children, elderly, and the disabled.

The event is a standard circus tent show, with seating in the round. Snacks, drinks, and souvenirs are available for purchase on site at the event.
