Living Well Summit: Joe Montana Speaks of Hard Work, Health, and Well-Being

The Vail Living Well Summit takes place every year in Vail in hopes to promote the health and well-being of our residents and all those who come out. It’s a 2 1/2-day summit that will cover such topics as longevity, health, fitness, preventative medicine, and overall well-being just to scratch the surface.

Vail is the perfect destination for the Vail Living Well Summit because the landscape and people are cohesively working together, not to mention it's just so darned beautiful. This year's summit will include an interactive, university-type feel, with high-profile keynote speakers (Mr. Joe Montana himself), along with activities that incorporate and accentuate the surrounding outdoor mountain environment.

Joe Montana was recently announced as this year's keynote speaker. Montana, whose career and personal life exemplifies hard work, health, and well-being seemed the perfect fit for Living Well Summit:

Joe Montana was selected late in the third round of the draft by San Francisco 49er coach Bill Walsh. He went on to lead the 49ers to victories in four Super Bowls during the 1980s, including consecutive wins in 1989 and 1990. An inspirational leader and talented passer, he was named the National Football League’s most valuable player three times. He joined the Kansas City Chiefs 1993–5, before retiring with NFL playoff records for completions, yards, and touchdowns. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2000.

Living Well will take place September 19-21, 2013 in Vail, with Joe Montana scheduled to speak September 19, 2013 from 6:15p to 7:15p at The Sebastian Hotel. Excited to share his personal experience and views on success and balance in life, Montana says a healthy lifestyle is a constant pursuit in his life.
